A mysterious master in Wushu
——International Dragon Wushu Center, the director -Michael Tenglong

Heroes never be asked the source

Emphasis on mental self-cultivation is more important than Wushu practice

Looks like spring silkworm that eats leaves and makes soft sound. Michael Tenglong is proficient in handwriting, within a moment when talking with the journalist , he finished one wonderful Zen calligraphy work on paper. The journalist noted that it was the Chinese character of "Buddha" . Michael Tenglong said: people who practice Wushu skill must pay more attention to self-cultivation efforts. Zengzi once said: "Stability will be able to make people quiet down, when people become quiet down, he can be steady, then he can think over the issue profoundly, later he can achieve it. This is done from deep cultivation, but also a necessary process that has been passed so far for Chinese Wushu practicing people without enduring. It can be said that the level of Wushu realm of people depends on self-cultivation, which can make him into stability, and then his Wushu skill can be naturally improved and entered into the paradise. Journalist asked:”‘What is Transformation?” Michael Tenglong said that Chinese Wushu is extensive and profound with a long history, master should know: "Studying will make progress, to be a road, they will be suffered, as the road is often damaged, there would be no road, then it will become an illusion realm. The journalist heard it and was touched a lot. What's great interest is this: after taking off the Wushu clothing, Michael Tenglong, from concept to act with a distinct ethos: exhilarating, go beyond social convention. The journalist noted one detail: in the eye-catching position of the International Dragon Wushu Center, hanging a lot of creative calligraphy works by Michael Tenglong. Among them, a "Heart Sutra" is the most outstanding works, as between the lines of calligraphy works, revealed an emptiness. The journalist felt strange, and asked Mr. Michael Tenglong: Why "Heart Sutra" this calligraphy works will be communicated to the reader a feel of void nature? Michael Tenglong explained to the reporter that “there is one saying in<Heart Sutra>“No understanding and no attaining." The meaning of this sentence is: people really have merit, in fact, only a void nature space. When i created this piece of calligraphic works, suddenly, i had a grasp of the concept of emptiness, as to me it seems like the sound of drum, without going and coming, which stayed not on the drums, neither on the hands. I like to write "Heart Sutra" because I think , the mystery of < Heart Sutra > is not the text, nor the realm, but the nature of the anti-sniff. Frankly speaking, it is the first time for the journalist to meet one master who is not only proficient in Wushu skill, calligraphy but also in Buddhism. In Michael Tenglong’s office, the reporter noted that his office is not only a library, but also a Buddhist sanctuary. There is a Buddhist sanctuary in the master’s office, and stored a large number of Buddhist scriptures in his Wushu training room, which made the journalist confused about: Does the realm of Wushu no far more than the religious harmony of the realm? Is it the splendid fame less than the insipid self-cultivation? Michael Tenglong’s fabulosity is really a hard puzzle to guess. When Michael Tenglong saw the journalist is full of confusion, he explained: When he was young, he had also impulse, but after long years of baptizing, he gradually learned that: the highest level for a master must be living on self-cultivation ,when self-cultivation reaches the top level , he will realize the highest level of Wushu, and a trace of empty realm in which there is no real me, no reversed ,it is a kind of great realm without dependency, beyond comparison. The journalist asked Michael Tenglong:”Is that because when you are in the process of self-cultivation, you feel the life is short then you are converted to Buddhism, this unusual choice?” Michael Tenglong said: “he was right. Life looks like illusion. Those who know how to listen to their inner voice of their hearts, and those who would like to choose a normal life from gorgeous life, are wise men. I am not wise, but I am willing to become the kind of person.”
Brave people can face to the world without enemy

Michael Tenglong said ,before he had also a lot of mundane affairs which made him feel tired, fortunately, he got a good opportunity to reach into the world of Buddhism, then he learned how to "be able to pick up ,be able to put down" . Michael Tenglong said that the real brave man is the person who is able to "see through and put down" .From learning to see through and to put aside, I have got a new experience: people can simply alive, things can be simply achieved, learn how to make one thing turned into another thing. In fact, people who get praise to be successes are often those extreme humble people. So we can see that only learn to "see through and put aside," can we find the free happiness during the short life. The journalist asked Michael Tenglong: “Do you mean to say “to get and to lose depends on fate, there will be no increase or reduce in heart.” right? Michael Tenglong answered:” I have been to many places, I will be happy in a quiet place, I will vexed in a noisy place. Why do I have different feeling when facing different situation?” I try to figure out this problem for a long time. Later, I came upon a book to find the answer, “people who live depends on fate, there is no difference between living creatures and himself, as predestined relationship changes, we feel both the pain and the happiness, all the feelings come from the cause. If you get a good return and honor of the thing, because you had made a good cause before, when cause will be done, there will be no happiness. So when we got happy things, we stay unmoved but to be concentrated to Buddhism, this is the life living on fate. Mr. Michael Tenglong said, “Remembered when I understood the meaning of this phrase, my heart was filled with unspeakable joy. The journalist asked him why? Michael Tenglong told the reporter: “There is desire, there is suffering, and without desire, it is a real happiness.” Life is a real Zen master. In life, Wushu masters must have awareness of their hearts, because only the heart of him becomes conscious, will he have the courage to overcome all difficulties and determination. Michael Tenglong’s speaking made the journalist thought of another master who had also one incisive point of view, He said, "There are two types of Wushu. One is trail, which entertains people’s eyes; the other road, it is stunning shock." The path which Michael Tenglong passed is such a stunning shock, the achievements he made in Wushu is the evidence of this statement "Everything is possible". "With actual eyes, goes into the high level of Zen." Michael Tenglong is making efforts to bring himself to an unprecedented own realm.
